The parish of St. Anthony is a vibrant faith community proclaiming the Risen Lord to the people of the West Side of Charleston, West Virginia and beyond.

The Sunday celebration of the Eucharist is the center of our parish life. Your presence with us on the Lord's Day will add to an already vibrant community that finds it's strength by gathering with one another around the table of the Lord. From the Sunday Eucharist our community is sent to others. There are a variety of ministries that invite your participation. Ministry is both a right and an obligation. Please refer to our ministries link to see what you, as a baptized member of the Church, can participate in.

 Many people come to visit us. When you decide that you would like to make St. Anthony your parish home, you are invited to register you and your family as members. Your membership ensures that we come to know your family in a more personal way, that we provide spiritual support to you as you need it and that we come to depend on your weekly presence and support as our parish moves forward to meet our future opportunities with confidence.

The parish of St. Anthony has been staffed by the members of the Capuchin Franciscan Friars (www.ofmcap.org) for more than 100 years. The brothers of this Order are locally based in Pittsburgh, PA and are members of the Province of St. Augustine (www.capuchin.com). Our service is at the invitation of the Bishop of the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston (www.dwc.org) to serve in his name and to provide pastorally for the People of God.
